Feeling fatigue, anxiety, irritability or got achy muscles? You might be low in magnesium. You can take a magnesium supplement or drink this delicious Magnesium-Boosting Strawberry Smoothie. It can help to calm the body and make you feel like you’re ready to take on the day.
Did you know that most Americans are deficient in magnesium?
Signs of a magnesium deficiency include: cravings for chocolate, fatigue, hyperactive reflexes, insomnia, constipation, irritability, anxiety, nausea, PMS, seizures, spasms, tics, stiff and aching muscles and vertigo.
You can take a magnesium supplement to help calm your body and soothe those achy muscles, or you can drink this Magnesium-Boosting Strawberry Smoothie. It’s a delicious way to get your daily dose of magnesium – and perfect when you’re on the go. It’s also a great alternative for kids who don’t like to take supplements. Just make this Strawberry Smoothie with magnesium.
How to Make This Magnesium-Boosting Strawberry Smoothie
You’ll need to get Kids Calm Multi, a kid’s magnesium supplement loaded with other essential vitamins, minerals, omega fish oil, organic fruit and veggie blend and amino acids, or Natural Calm, an magnesium supplement for adults. These liquid magnesium supplements can just be added to this (or any) smoothie recipe.
Add 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, 1 frozen banana, 1 small orange peeled, 1 oz Kids Calm Multi, and 2 cups of filtered or distilled water. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
Caribbean Passion Jamba Juice Copycat Recipe
You can make a copycat recipe of the Jamba Juice favorite: Caribbean Passion just be adjusting the recipe a bit. Use 1/4 cup frozen pineapple, 1/4 cup frozen mango, 1/4 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 frozen banana, 1 small orange peeled, 1 oz Kids Calm Multi, and 2 cups of filtered or distilled water. That’s it!
But rather than paying nearly $5 at Jamba Juice, you can make this at home – without the added sugar and other additives. Plus, I can use organic fruit and avoid sugar (or worse artificial sweeteners) when I make my own smoothies at home.
How to Enjoy This Magnesium-Boosting Smoothie
You can enjoy it as a meal replacement for breakfast or as a snack. And you can even enjoy it while on the go to help get a daily dose of magnesium.
