Wordless Wednesday: Jedi Training

My oldest boys went to a Star Wars-themed birthday party last weekend. Little did we know it was time for Jedi training with Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

Jedi Training

Every kid had a chance to duke it out with Darth – nice alternative to beating the hell out of a pinata.

I did feel sorry for Darth after a while. There were like 25 kids there fighting him.

And then I learned the big differences between boys and girls. All the boys wanted to pummel Darth Vader and learn how to wield a light saber.

The girls complimented Darth Vader on his helmet and cape. No joke. They were taking turns commenting how much they loved his wardrobe.

  1. LOL! Poor Darth! But what a great party idea! As for the boys vs. girls thing, I can already see the difference between my boy and girl – and she’s not even two! Gah!

    • It was a fantastic party idea – but I’m feeling a little guilty for just serving up pizza and telling the kids to play outside by themselves without planned activities. Thanks for visiting.
