Review: Green Kids Crafts

You’ve probably heard of kit-of-the-month clubs, in which you sign up and receive a box full of goodies (beauty products, organic foods, etc.). Green Kid Crafts takes that same concept but delivers green, eco-friendly kids crafts to your door. There are a variety of monthly kid craft subscriptions to choose from with materials like recycled felt, recycled paper, clay, colored sand, shells, wood and much more. Green Kid Crafts avoid craft foams and plastics and opt for sustainable materials that conform to their eco-ingredients criteria. Plus, instructions are easy to follow for kids.

Each Discovery Boxcontains coloring sheets, games and a booklet with ideas to create more projects for the monthly subscription box theme. Take a look inside sample Discovery Boxes – my kids would love the outer space and dinosaur themed boxes.

Food Adventure Box

We had the opportunity to try the Food Adventure Box with crafts to celebrate healthy eating thanks to Stonyfield Farms.

This Discovery Box included:

  • Rainbow tile coaster craft
  • Fishing game craft
  • Growing organic basil and sprout gardens
  • Coupons for natural food companies like Annie’s, Stonyfield and more

My kids really enjoyed this box, especially making the tile coaster and growing the basil and sprout gardens. A monthly subscription to Green Kid Crafts would be a fun, eco-friendly alternative to a traditional Christmas gifts for kids. I know my kids would enjoy getting a delivery every month with Discovery Boxes filled with surprise crafts. They just love getting things in the mail.
