Wordless Wednesday: Transitioning to a Convertible Car Seat

My little has graduated to a convertible car seat and now faces out front. The transition just reminded me how fast time has flown by since he was born a year ago. My older boys were so excited to have their baby brother graduate to a “big boy carseat”. And the baby couldn’t be more thrilled to finally be able to see out the window and face the same direction as his older brothers.

Here’s the little guy sleeping in his new (well, new to him, all three of my boys used this carseat).

I’m also going through his newborn clothes, baby gear, and toys to sell it on Craigslist or donate.

How soon do you give your baby gear away? Do you prefer to hold onto it for sentimental value or do you give it away as soon as your baby outgrows them, which is usually what I do.

  1. Haha–I held on to everything until I was absolutely sure we were done having babies. Then, I gave everything away to our friends. I love getting to see the girls’ stuff being used again by another happy baby.

  2. Aww…cute little guy in his big boy seat! We saved everything for our new baby but now I’m going through it to sell because the seasons are off. This little guy needs warm stuff when the other needed cooler clothes.
