Wordless Wednesday: The Last Place I Ever Expected to Put My Toothbrush

preserve toothbrushes recycled

I’ve seen these toothbrushes at Trader Joe’s for months now and never really paid attention to them. Then, one day I was buying some TJ shampoo and noticed that these are no ordinary toothbrushes. These are Preserve toothbrushes.

Immediately, I noticed the handles are made from recycled plastic (like yogurt container lids), and the best part is that once you’re done with these toothbrushes you can send them back to the company to be recycled into new toothbrushes. Plus, the package they come in is a pre-addressed and paid mailer. There’s no waste!

I just found out they make kids toothbrushes too so I fully intend on getting the whole family on them. And check out the Preserve website to learn more about their recycling practices.

After I was done using them for teeth brushing, I used these to clean the grout in my shower. I’m trying to squeeze every last use out of them before sending them back to Preserve.

Don’t have a Trader Joe’s near you? Here’s where you can buy them.
