Wordless Wednesday: Strawberry Fields

My kids love eating fruit and vegetables. Some say I’m lucky, but honestly it’s not luck. We just put out fruit and veggies for every meal so the kids just naturally eat it. In fact, several teachers have told me that my 5 year old eats more fruit than any other kid they know. That’s something to be proud of.

So since it’s strawberry season in California, we headed out to the strawberry fields. I love this photo of my 5 year old walking through the field, clutching his bowl and ready for picking.

Their bowl was overflowing with strawberries by the end – and they did plenty of sampling. Those berries were gone within two days.
