Baby Carrier Rain Cover

I’m so excited about this product. I bought it at Babies ‘R Us on a whim that I might need it on our Hawaii trip. And I’m so glad that I did. Kauai is incredibly beautiful and lush, so of course it rains at a moment’s notice.

I got this Mamas and Papas rain cover hoping it would fit my Beco Gemini baby carrier, and it did! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to use. I just fit it over my baby’s legs and hooked the clips at the top (where the boning is located to give baby some room to breathe) to my carrier strap. The Mamas and Papas baby carrier has a special hook for the clips, but I didn’t feel like I needed it for the Beco.

I could see this working for the Ergo carrier too and any other structured baby carrier. Not sure about Mei Tais but it’s worth a try. Take your carrier to Babies ‘R Us to try it out.

So if you plan to do any travel to a rainy destinations, pick up a rain cover for your baby carrier. So much easier than traveling with an umbrella.
