I’m on a mission to get all toxic chemicals out of my home. I’ve succeeded with the foods my family eats as well as the bath and personal care products we use. And now I’m using essential oils to create my holistic medicine kit.
I’m learning so much about the medicinal uses for essential oils, and I want to tell you all about it. I’ll be doing a series of blog posts to introduce you to essential oils and how they can really make a difference in your life.
Why I Choose Young Living Essential Oils
Young Living Essential Oils are 100% pure therapeutic-grade essential oils – which means they can be used for therapeutic use, not just for smell. I use these essential oils as part of our holistic medicine kit. For instance, I use peppermint for fevers, Purification for bug bites, and lavender for minor cuts. I also make homemade beauty and natural household cleaners.
Young Living Essential Oils sets the standard for purity and authenticity. They carefully monitor every step of the production of their oils from Seed to Seal – from the time the first seed is planted to the time the bottle is sealed.

What is Thieves Oil?
Thieves is my FAVORITE oil in the 10 basic everyday essential oils kit. Why? It’s like the Windex of essential oils. Remember Toula’s dad on My Big Fat Greek Wedding? He used Windex for everything from acne to psoriasis to poison ivy. In my family, Tiger Balm was the go-to for everything… until now.
Thieves oil is a special blend of therapeutic-grade essential oils, including clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary. The blend is named after four thieves who supposedly used the oils to protect themselves while robbing people dying of the plague. Thieves oil has actually been tested for its cleansing abilities and has shown to be very effective in supporting the immune system and eliminating bacteria.
And it smells AMAZING! I love the scent – it’s my favorite of all the essential oils in the premium kit.
So how can you use it? Keep reading to find out. How to order Thieves essential oil.
